NICE ORIGINAL 1942 DOOLING BROS MITE MODEL 6000 PEE WEE TETHER CAR ONLY 200 MADE For Sale

ATTENTION buyers--PLEASE READ THE TERMS OF THIS sale BELOW THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS ITEM AND UNDER THE SHIPPING AND PAYMENTS TAB ABOVE--THESE TERMS ARE VERY IMPORTANT--PLEASE offer ONLY AFTER READING/UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEING TO THEM IF YOU SHOULD BE THE WINNING buyer--THANKS AND GOOD LUCK offerDING !!BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL CONDITION TETHER CAR !!--this is a dooling brothers(los angeles california) model 6000 small class pee wee mite tether car--supposedly only 200 were ever made between 1942 & 1944--the car features a polished aluminum upper body and belly pan--it is equipped with an ignition shut off switch on side however the car is running a vivell super 35 glo engine circa 1946(vivell motors oakland california)--the car has a 7-3/4\" wheel base/overall length approximately 11-3/4\"/width at rear 6\" and approximate height of 4\"--overall weight of the car as shown is 2 pounds 10 ounces--the vivell motor turns over very smoothly and seems to have good compression--it powers the left side rear wheel and the differential turns smoothly just like the engine--VERY SMOOTH DRIVE TRAIN--the only thing i see missing is a fuel line from the gas tank to the motor--there are no markings on any of the 4 tires--the car features a working coil spring central pivot front suspension but no working rear suspension--the car is shown as found and is very clean but may clean up a bit better in the hard to reach areas--the only thing i can see on the car that does not look original are the 2 allen head screws that hold the upper body shell to the pan(they look too new and are probably replacements)--please keep in mind i cannot guarantee the motor will run--you can find information and pictures in robert ames tether car book on page 97 and eric zausner tether car book on page 210--both excellent books with lots of info full color pictures !!
