This offering is for a clock that has stenciled on the back 1912 which indicates it was built in 1912. The case is an outstanding walnut long drop that has no flaws whatsoever. Case has 2 labels on inside on bottom which is shown in photos. 1 is Seth Thomas label and other is Santa Fe. Lower glass ishand-painted\"AT & SF RR\". This is in metallic gold with dark blue shadow. Has original Seth Thomas brass works with a second hand and has been oiled and keeps good time. It is either a 15 day or 30 day clock and is wound with 2 springs. Works is signed S.T. The works is an extra heavy duty called the Seth Thomas \"World\". Dial is very nice and could have been refurbished sometime over the years since I do not know the clocks history.
This wall clock weights 14 pounds and measures 32 inches tall and 16 inches wide. It is quite rare for 2 reasons: It is a long drop case and it has a second hand. A Seth Thomas with these features are hard to find.
It would really look at home in your model train room or anyplace you would like to show off this immaculate piece of old time craftsmanship. A piece of this quality does not show up on the market very often. Will have a $49 handling fee to cover insurance and a proper size box with extra packing to be sure it arrives safely. This will show up as a shipping fee. Ships UPS and they do not deliver to a PO box.
