Nippon Porcelain Bottle w/ Stopper Gold Moriage over Cobalt Pink Floral 6 in Vtg
Beautifully hand painted porcelain bottle with stopper. This reminds me of perfume bottles but this is larger at 6 inches. Pink florals over peachy and blue base with cobalt decor covered in gold moriage. The matching stopper has the same colors and treatment. I actually thought the top of the stopper was discolored but I was wrong. It matches the colors on the bottle / vase. This bottle and stopper are glazed with the exception of where the stopper goes into the bottle and the inside of the bottle is also bare of glaze.
Beautiful antique in fabulous condition. The bottom stamp has Hand Painted Nippon with the 1/4 inch leaf which indicates this is an original stamp and the was produced between 1891 - 1921.
READ - 1 dark spot and 1 small indentation - both occurred during manufacturing process. Please see last 2 pictures.
