OLD, ANTIQUE LIGHTNING CANNING JAR, FRUIT JAR, PUTNAM 835, PATENT DATES ON LID For Sale

Old, antique, Lightning canning jar, Putnam 835, with patent dates on the lid (please see attached pictures). Item is 7&3/4\" tall, jar says LIGHTNING TRADE MARK on the front and PUTNAM 835 on the bottom, as shown, top of the jar is factory ground (shown), and lid says on the top PATD JAN 5 75 REISD JUNE 5, 77 PATD APR 25 82. We don\'t know if this is the lid that originally went with the jar but it was with the jar when we bought it and it fits well (about a 1/8\" of play at the top when placed on the jar). Condition is as follows: Jar has light roughness at the top at the factory grind point (shown); lid has three pinhead chips at the outside rim (shown). Otherwise, good, just a lot of wear (shown).
