HONEYBERRY BOREAL SERIES: BEAUTY, BEAST AND BLIZZARD
For your purchase, you are getting ONE rooted 2”-4”Boreal Beauty Honeyberry (see picture 4), ONE 2”-4”Boreal Beast(see picture 5) and ONE 1”-2” Boreal Blizzard Honeyberry (see picture 6) starter plants. I cant’t mix these plants for inventory tracking purpose, however you can buy each plant separately from my shop on . Prices are the same. Young leaves will be trimmed off (they don’t travel well). The starter plants will be dipped in water gel, wrapped in wet paper towel and Saran wrapped to retain moisture. There will be no pots included. You may receive your starter plants in recycled box (cracker box, Amazon, Walmart boxes). Plants will be shipped on Monday but no later than Wednesday. This is to ensure these plants not kept in post office warehouse over the weekend.
BOREAL BEAUTY HONEYBERRY
This is the Saskatchewan Program’s second largest haskap berry. Fruit averages 2.6 grams with the largest weighing 3.6 grams. Boreal Beauty Honeyberry produces fruits that are rounded/heart shaped and are firm. These berries as Haskaps, are sweet and tart, similar in flavor as blueberries. These fruits are high in antioxidants, as high or higher than blueberries! The plants grow upright and slightly spreading and are one of the more vigorous growers. Boreal Beauty Honeyberry is a late-season variety to extend your honeyberry season!
Boreal Beauty has excellent mildew resistance. This cold-hardy berry plant requires about 1,000-1,200 chill hours. Plant honeyberries in rich soil, with a pH between 5-7.

The Boreal Beast Honeyberry produces big berries with bold flavor with more firmness than many other haskap. These elongated berries are thick and oval shape. These berries as Haskaps, are sweet and tart, similar in flavor as blueberries. These fruits are high in antioxidants, as high or higher than blueberries! The bloom season of this cultivar is relatively late, matching the bloom season of Boreal Blizzard. The plants grow upright and slightly spreading and are one of the more vigorous growers.

BOREAL BLIZZARD HONEYBERRY
The Boreal Blizzard Honeyberry produces large, flavorful berries – perfect for fresh eating, baking, and freezing. These elongated berries are known to have a flavor similar to blueberries. This variety is known for the size of its berries and how productive they are! The berries th are up to 3 times heavier than other varieties of Haskap.
The Boreal Blizzard Honeyberry blooms late and has a harvest window in midseason, with a general mid-June to mid-July window. This berry plant has an upright, vigorous growth habit and strong branching structure that develops a dome shape crown.
Perfect for cooler regions, this cold-hardy plant requires about 1,000 – 1,200 chill hours. Plant your honeyberries in rich soil – they can thrive in partial shade, For this specimen to produce, it’ll need a different honeyberry plant that blooms around the same time to pollinate it.
