DESCRIPTION :
This sale is for a neat old souvenir brass medal from the 1898 National Peace Jubilee that was either held in Chicago or Omaha Nebraska. This neat old medal has an eagle above a scene of soldiers with guns hats, and a flag all surrounding what looks like lady Liberty. This neat old badge is about 2.75 inches tall. it is in great condition with some minor scuffs and scratches. The back has a loss of the gold finish. It is missing a ring to connect top bar pin to the bottom medal. Thats easy enough to fix. It is OLD and ORIGINAL from 1898. I would bet that this was either to celebrate the end of the Indian Wars or to try and stop the upcoming Spanish American War.
