Olds Ambassador Trumpet 1960 - Reconditioned - Case & Olds 3 Mouthpiece Bore: .458 - Serial# 362***Horn has 75% lacquer with scratches and general signs of use. Horn has plenty of life left and valves and slides are all smooth, caps thread nicely. This legendary Kanstul era Ambassador is playing great! I had to replace the 3rd slide which was smashed and cracked on the bow, the original had the lockout fixture so I removed the one on the body. Case is a little sloppy and has some some cracked corners that have been taped, hinges are loose and latches are good. Horn comes with a beat up Olds 3 mouthpiece.
UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. (This is a $150 service for complete reconditioning at the shop)

• Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed
• Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT)
  
• Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour)
  
• Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly
  
• Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed
• Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale
  

***Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case.

Returns for Play Ready Instruments, Parts or Accessories: We do not accept returns or offer trial periods to try horns listed here on , please come to Colorado to try instruments, we\'ll have fun talking about horns! If you have any questions or problems with your instrument, please contact UYB first for any issues if needing to return an instrument for being not as described. Facilitate a quick return process with cordial communication, returns started without communication will take much longer to process. If your instrument is damaged during shipping, you must take a picture of the box with external damage, the packaging and the damage to the case and or instrument. The shipper will not offer any compensation unless these steps are taken.
