OOAK new fawn GREYHOUND Dog in Jack O\'Lantern soft sculpture, 13\" tall x 8\" For Sale

This is my newest artwork, it is a brand new Fawn and white GREYHOUND DOG coming out of a Jack O\' Lantern!

SIZE: It is a bit over 13\" tall x 8\" across the front of the pumpkin. This soft sculpture can be displayed on top of a short bowl or small round basket that is covered in black velvet, just as I have done to photograph it for you.

Since it is stuffed with polyester fiberfill it is lightweight and will balance rather easily.

This is one of my ORIGINAL WORKS, and it is fully signed and dated on the bottom. (\"Greyhound in Jack O\'Lantern\" -2014- Ginnette Chicoine).

It is in muslin cloth that I sewed/stuffed/painted using artists acrylics. Two 1930-1940 metal work buttons joint front legs into body. Dog does not come out of Jack O\'Lantern.

I sculpted the Greyhounds nose in clay, and hand made each ear before sewing and gluing it in place. The collar is in a bronze tulle that marries so well with the fawn greyhound and pumpkin colors...and it is also made with ecru lace and the inner part is in red/brown double weight felt. This collar is removable...it ties on with brown cotton floss. See all photos to view sculpture with and without collar. Greyhound will be shipped with collar on.

The painted eyes look contemplative, as if the Greyhound is wondering if he should jump out, or just wait a while longer...

This sculpture also has incorporated into it permanent color fine line writing/drawing pens...you can see where I used them to make the face of the \"Jack\" and also their use on the head of the Greyhound and the two leaves atop the \"Jack\". They lend a whimsical look to the work.
