It depicts a sparrow and snow for winter.
This is a very rare print of a small bird of this size.Please refer to the attached photo of the most detailed English version of the Furumura catalogue.This is the only copy in a private collection.Size of woodblock print = 15.2 cm (length) X 9.9 cm (width).The condition of the print = as shown in the photos.
Very good for its age.
Very few prints in this level of preservation are really rare and therefore very valuable.
The black margins are probably due to print paint, judging from the color and position.
Paint on the margins is considered evidence of hand rubbing, so it is not a particular drawback. (The condition description is subjective, so please check the photos for details.)
