This HK363-a so-called dollar is silver-plated (NOT pure silver as you may see some advertised); they were only struck plated. The HK book lists them as R-5 which seems reasonable, although in the last ten years they seem very scarce. Bronze AYPE medals show up much more and I\'ve not seen more than a handful of this particular medal available at shows or for sale in more than a decade.
You can see a couple of high points where the plating has rubbed and exposes the underlayer but for the most part there is virtually no wear to be seen.
A medal I\'d still call scarce but it\'s bordering on becoming \"rare\" these days.
