Rare Color P. T. McGann,Frostburg, MarylandSoda Bottle
Thisunusual color soda bottle was blown in a two piece mold with some nice bubbles. The neck and top have lots of stretch marks, bubbles and folds.
In very good condition with some light bottling wear mainly around the bottom rim. Any bright spots are just sun glare and the light areas are reflections from the white table and the overhead screen.
Has very strong embossing -\"R. T. McGANN FROSTBURG MD\" and at the bottom rim is \"REGISTERED\" - photo #2 is a close up.
Around the rear rim is \"THIS BOTTLENOT TO BE SOLD\" and\"D. G. CO. 17\" - photo #5 is a close up. There is still some debate as to what company made this heel logo with the twomost likely being the Diamond Glass Co. of Royersford, Pennsylvania (1886-1990)or the Duquesne Glass Co., Paden City, West Virginia (1905-1920)-both companies distributed their heelmark logos throughout western Pennsylvania and northern Maryland.
