If you love primitive simple little rag dolls with lots of wear from years of play or antique blue calico this sweet gal is exactly who you need to add to your collection. Check out the pics and know she\'s much better in person too. I believe she\'s a church doll because of her small size. :)
She measures just a mere 8 inches tall. Her plump little body is very old flannel or felt type fabric and her hand sewn head is definitely a good replacement that has been there for awhile but it suits her with a primitive style and is made from old cotton fabric too. She feels like she\'s stuffed with bumpy cotton or rags and some crunchy stuff. She has some old spots on her as you see in the pics but she\'s clean overall and no bad odors. Her make do dress is fantastic and original to her as you can tell from the wear. It\'s very early blue star calico and it simply ties in the back and is crudely made with no sleeves. It has fading on the front where she\'s been sitting in the sunlight but the back and underneath is still very dark indigo blue. Again the wear pattern on it shows she\'s an oldie and not newly made. Overall she\'s just a sweet little find that will put a smile on your face and if she could talk I bet she would tell of an interesting tattered past for sure. :)
