Item description:Fabulous pair of enameled, hand-decorated and vitrified ceramic plates, made in Faenza by the very important Faenza manufacturing company of the Minardi Brothers, signed on the back with the manufacturing mark, dating back to the first decades of the 20th century. Under the brand there is the letter \"S\", even if you can\'t see it very well, which means that we are talking about a couple belonging to the period in which the Minardi factory was acquired by Melandri and Focaccia, another even more important Faenza factory, which boasts the collaboration of very important artists, such as Melandri, Giò Ponti, Francesco Nonni, Achille Wildi, Riccardo Gatti and Domenico Baccarini.Useful information for the evaluation of the object:As evidence of what has been said, we have placed in the last photos immediately below this description, a cup, also offered in our shop, where both the brand and the letter \"S\" are clearly visible, with identical decoration. In the first years of production of the Minardi Brothers manufacturing, after the acquisition by the Melandri-Focaccia, the brand remained the same with the addition of the \"S\", which is why we are talking about a particularly rare pair of plates.
