Very rare 1/700 resin kit of British light aircraft carrier HMS Invincible during the Falklands war campaign.
Whilst the Dragon plastic kit is widely available, the hull form is very poor/incorrect. This kit (moulded by Clipper Models and pre-dates Dragon\'s kit) captures the non-symmetrical form of the hull (starboard/port) as well as the correct bow/stern shape (Dragon\'s version again being way off the mark). Deck markings are raised (like the Dragon kit, so no decal for markings are provided and advanced modelers should consider sand them flush). Comes with island parts in resin with very fine decals including hatch handles/wirings and cast metal small parts, including 4x harriers and 4x seakings. Box states also contains parts to build Invincible after the return from the Falklands war, I take it includes additional CIWS fittings.
Combined with a WEM PE set, you have what it takes to build the most accurate 1/700 scale HMS Invincible available.
