Has 12 Volt electric lift for raising and lowering unit. Also has a hand crank in case the battery runs low.
Also a 12 Volt motor on the auger that drops the seed out of the box, box has 4 different positions to control amount of seed that is planted.Both Switches are new on the control box, one was broken off when we bought it and the other one was broken by me when replacing the other one so it now has 2 new switches.
Roller/packer on the back can be placed in the uppositionuntil you are ready to plant and then it swings down to roll on the ground. Set of springs and chains come with it to keep down pressure on roller when planting.
I bought this planter a few years ago at an estate sale. Brought it home and put it in the machinery shed with the idea of planting food plots for people in my spare time. Made it out of the machinery shed yesterday for the first time since I bought it. I really don\'t have any free time and doubt that I will ever get to use it. Time for someone to have it that will actually use it.I cleaned it up a little and checked everything out and greased it. I adjusted the disc gangs a little bit farther apart because the previous owner had the disc to close in my opinion.Pulled it around the field and everything worked as it should.
Seems to be in really good shape with minimal wear.
