LALIQUE DESIGNEDWW I MEDAL AND PINThe first medal resembles the shape of amaltese cross. The lady is holding/caressing a child. The writing reads \"Orphelinat Des Armee\" andR. Lalique at the left corner. From what I cantranslate Orphelinat means orphanage anddes armee means army. There is no ribbon onthe medal and there are a couple of stains on the top.
The second is a round pin. It appears to be a wingedlady/angel holding broken chains with very crisp detailsto all features. R. Lalique is on the right side. The back of the pin reads, \"Journee Rouennaisdes prisonniers de guerre Octobre 1916.According to my translation it mentionsprisoners of war Oct. 1916. I don\'t know if my translation is correcton all wording.Items are as is.
