For sale I offer a very rare pipe tomahawk with an original screw on brass bowl. It dates from approx. 1750-1760. Its a French and Indian War piece from an important New Jersey collection. It is approx. 6 inches long with the bowl attached and about 2 and 1/4 inches wide at blade. The eye measures approx. 1 inch by 3/4 inch. Handle is long gone. I would say it is in very stable partly relic condition. The edge, which was hardened when made, has many small nicks and there is all over pitting. The brass bowl has a piece out and threads are weak.(Its a miracle that its still with it at all!) The bowl end is slightly flattened from hammering. It is a wonderful, important and historical item. It would be a great addition to a Native American trade item, French and Indian War or historic collection. Please see our other items and read our terms
