This is an extremely rare set of 3 NANTUCKET LIGHTSHIP NESTING BASKETS from the early 1980\'s. They recently came from a local estate. These baskets were all made in the early basket making careers of Bill and Judy Sayle. They were ordered and made at different times thus were signed differently. I included the outside and inside measurements at the basket\'s openings/top. However, the original receipts are included. The descriptions on the receipts are 8\", 10\" and 10\". The only basket that matches the description on the receipt is the basket with the 10\" inside diameter. Otherwise I am not sure how the Sayles determined the size. These baskets are in EXCELLENT original condition. They are not perfect but are EXCELLENT. The cherry wood bottoms have a few minor scuffs and scratches. Otherwise they are GREAT. NO wear, holes, stains, cracks, fraying or damage. The oak handles are EXCELLENT. These baskets were NOT used for storage. They were displayed on a shelf for years. They are CLEAN. They come from a smoke-free environment. They are AUTHENTIC! In addition to the baskets you will receive the 3 handwritten receipts from the Sayles. If you have questions, please ask.
