I DON\'T KNOW THE AGE, BUT BASED ON MY RESEARCHI WOULD DATE THIS TO THE
LATE 1800’SDUE TO THE CONSTRUCTION.
ALL THE DRAWERS HAVE WIDE DOVETAIL JOINTS ANDHINGES ARE ON WITH OLDFLAT HEAD SCREWS.
THE DRAWERS ARE NUMBERED ON THE BACK WHICH ISANOTHER SIGN IT WAS HANDMADE.
The drawers have a curve to them on the inside
which is hard to see in photos.
AGAIN, I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON ANTIQUE FURNITUREAND I CANNOT ACCURATELY
DATE THIS PIECE BUT,
IT IS DEFINITELY FINE ANTIQUE CRAFTSMANSHIP.
As with anything this old,
there are signsof age and wear.
A couple of the drawer knobs are missing (see photos)
There are minor scratches and signs of wear throughout.
