RARE Holtzer Cabot 1/2 single phase 1800 rpm electric motor from 1909 runs great. Was removed from a running and working 1940 Craftsman table saw but was not original to the saw. Motor runs fantastic. It does have a tick that appears to be from an imperfection on the slip ring. Does not appear to affect operation and you may be able to clean up the slip ring. It has had rubber tube glued over the open terminals. This can be removed if needed. The SN of the motor was used to date it to 1909. Do a search on Holtzer Cabor motors and there are several sources showing the SN information regarding year of manufacture. The motor draws about 7.8 amps when running.
