A very rare Precolumbian Sultepec maskette measuring 3 3/4\" tall, nicely polished and drilled at the top of the head for suspension. Deeply carved with high brow and nose features out of an attractive grayish brown stone. Circa 300 BC to 100 AD. Would have been worn as a pectoral. Signs of heavy usage as the top hole is very worn.
