Rare The Kuebeler Stang Co from Sandusky Ohio Beer Bottle:
$12.99

This bottle is 10\" high an from the Kuebler Stang Brewery in Sandusky Ohio. Great piece of brewery history in a bottle from Sandusky Ohio. Below is a little history on this bottle.
From the 1903 book, One Hundred Years of Brewing:

\"Kuebeler Brewery, Sandusky, Ohio -- This establishment, now a branch of the Cleveland and Sandusky Brewing Company, was founded in 1867 by Jacob Kuebeler, and was incorporated in 1892 under the name of the Jacob Kuebeler Brewing and Malting Company. It was combined in 1895 with the Stang Brewery, Sandusky, forming the Kuebeler-Stang Brewing and Malting Company, and finally absorbed by the Cleveland and Sandusky company in 1898.\"

\"The Stang Brewery, Sandusky, Ohio. -- The Stang branch of the Cleveland and Sandusky Brewing Company, Sandusky, Ohio, was founded in 1850 by Philip Dauch. In 1862 it passed into the hands of Windisch, Bricht & Cable, who were succeeded in 1868 by Fox & Windisch. In 1872 it passed into the possession of John Bender, who was succeeded in 1880 by Frank Stang. In 1892 the brewery was burned and was rebuilt by the Stang Brewing Company, by whom it was conducted until it was merged into the Kuebeler-Stang Brewing and Malting Company in 1895. When the Cleveland and Sandusky Brewing Company was organized in the year 1898, the Stang plant among others was purchased and became a constituent part of it.\"Webmaster\'s Note: The cornerstone brand of the Kuebeler-Stang Brewing & Malting Company was Crystal Rock Beer, purportedly brewed using water from the nearby Crystal Rock spring. Both plants had ceased making beer by 1920. After Prohibition, only the Stang plant re-opened. It was closed in 1935 after a prolonged strike among the brewery workers of Cleveland and Sandusky.
