Vintage Vintage Hollinshead & Kirkham (Ltd) Unicorn Pottery, Tunstall Gold Filigree Embossed China, Pattern #3490. Made In England. Each piece is sold individually.Maker\'s Marks: These all have the H&K Tunstall (Hollinshead & Kirkham) Printed Green Maker\'s Mark with Unicorn which dates to circa 1933 to 1942. Hand written pattern number in Gold of \"3490\". Company History: Hollinshead & Kirkham (Ltd) manufactured fine earthenware products from 1870-1956. Established 1870 at Burslem and relocated in 1876 to Tunstall. The factory was purchased by Johnson Bros (Hanley) Ltd. in 1956. Pattern Description: Cream colored rim with embossed white inner circle and gold metallic filigree on the outer rim. Scalloped edge with gold trim. Center is plain white with gold circles surrounding a light orange band with a gold floral design. Marked in Gold by hand on bottom with \"3490\". Condition: All are used and in very good condition for their age (except as noted in the specific items below). The gold trim shows light wear and the soles of the plates have very little shelf wear. The tea pots and cups show moderate shelf wear to their soles, and the tea pots have light crazing. One tea pot has a chipped spout and is listed separately. The sugar bowl Lid has been cracked and split down the middle, but has been repaired. See photos.The pieces available in this listing are as follows:
