Hello, welcome to our listing! You\'re looking at an excellent Lawrence Custom Mandolin! This Mandolin is one of a kind very high quality made by Robert Lawrence himself from his luthiershop. Bob Lawrence is respected by a number of very well known bluegrass pickers for his wonderful custom acoustic guitars as well as dobros and mandolins. His Dobro\'s are currently being played nearly monthly at the Grand Ole Opry. This guitar is brand new, has never had a previous owner.
A LITTLE ABOUT BOB LAWRENCE:DEMO OF A LAWRENCE MANDOLIN:
Each instrument is hand crafted and set up to be the best sounding and playing instrument possible. Not only in the intonation extremely well set, but the materials, wood and technique makes his guitars have a playability and soundpreferred by many musicians such as the Daniel Patrick of The Roys even over the most well respected and known brands in acoustic guitars.
Lawrence guitars are based to similar styles and construction as early Martin and Gibson acoustic instruments. Bob has studied their construction for many years and added a couple of his own improvements. Many acoustic players cherish their Lawrence guitars saying, \"This is the tone andplayability I have always been after, but never able to find!\".
These Custom Mandolins typically sell for upwards of $3000 or more. This particular model says \"The Lawrence\" almost just like the early Gibson \"The Gibson\" headstocks. This three point mandolin is a Western Red Cedâr top on Walnùt body. Also Mahogàny 5 piece neck.Comes with a hardcase.
