Samara Joy, the winner of the 2019 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, is a huge talent who shocked the US jazz scene and recorded at the age of 20, and is now 21 years old and a surefire star of the next generation of big stars. Samara Joy\'s debut album (on Whirlwind in the UK). She is the next generation of authentic contemporary jazz vocalists such as Cecil McLoughlin Salvant and Jazzmeia Horn, and she has an overwhelming presence.

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, she grew up in a musical family: her grandparents were members of the famous gospel group The Savettes, and her father was a gospel singer. He has already performed with Christian McBride, Jon Faddis, and others, and has been the talk of the town for his many live performances.

His deep, velvety voice and skills, which come from a family of gospel singers, have made him a star at the age of 21, and his YouTube videos of \"Mood Indigo\" from his college days and \"Stardust\" at the Vermont Jazz Center have been a big hit. The persuasiveness and skill with which he sings many of the standards on this debut album convinces us that he is on a completely different level.

The recording trio consists of Pasquale Grasso (g), who Pat Metheny praised as \"the best guitarist I have ever heard in my life,\" Ari Roland (b), who has released a series of excellent albums on Smalls Records, and Kenny Washington (ds), who is a legendary virtuoso. The trio is produced by Pat Metheny. The album is produced by Matt Pearson, a Grammy-nominated producer and jazz legend who has worked with Pat Metheny, Brad Meldor, and many other artists.

This Japanese version contains 12 original songs, plus one Japanese version of the song \"Sophisticated Lady\" → 13 songs in total.
