Hello all and welcome! We have a beautiful find here for you. This is the Singer slant needle model 404 machine. One of the best straight stitch machines that Singer ever built. This machine is in great condition and sews a lovely stitch, smoothly and quietly. The slant needle design gives it the power to punch through layers of denim, canvas, sail, leather, etc like a hot knife through butter. This machine is in nice cosmetic condition. It does have some scratches and marks as you would expect on an \"over 50\" machine. It has the original manual and accessories box with it. Included accessories include a ruffler, several presser feet, lubricant, needles, screwdriver, and brush. The foot pedal is included and the table features the \"knee pedal\" allowing you to control the machine with your knee rather than your foot. This machine comes in the original mid century solid wood cabinet. I believe this is walnut, but I am not an expert on wood. The cabinet has some scratches and a black stain inside, see photos, and could be refinished but, in my opinion, it is perfectly presentable as is.
