FIRST THING TO BE SAID...BULLET PROOF MEANS BULLET RESISTANT.

And that being said, this is a standard, USED, BALLISTIC VEST, BODY ARMOR made by the POINT BLANK Company, out of Amnityville, NY and sold under the GALLS UNIFORM SHOP Label.

The vest includes front & rear panels, and the carrier.  The carrier is quite deluxe, with tactical pockets for equipment.  I do not know the brand.
This vest is worn in the field, OVER your clothing, uniform or jacket,

 

THIS ONE HAS THE PLENTY of  ADJUSTMENTS ON THE  CARRIER

The panel labels state they are orignal rated for THREAT LEVEL II protection NIJ STANDARD. 
Level II is made to stop 9mm rounds with a velocity of 398 meters per second, as well as .357
Magnum bullets. Level IIIA vests are the toughest \'soft\' armor available, able to stop .357 SIG
rounds and .44 Magnum bullets – for officers expecting to face handgun-fire, this may be the best
option. With many layers of protective padding, these can stop all of the above ammunition-types

This is a lower/average level of protection.
However the carrier has pockets for added panel protection.

WHO IT FITS

The vest looks to be MALE 46-48 L (LONG).

 

The front panel measures 24\" across the bottom...it wraps for side protection.  It tapers to 12\" across the top, with ballistic protection extending to the upper front shoulder area.  It measures 15\" from V of the neck to to bottom.

The rear panel measures 26\" across the bottom including the wraparound; tapering to 12\" across the upper back. The panel is 18\" top to bottom

The total weight is about 8 pounds.

The vest and carrier are used, and appear well cared for and the Kevlar kept dry (important).  The panels are the same style, but only ONE is dated.

 

The rear panel is dated FEBRUARY, 2007

I do not know when it went into service.  It was warrantied for 5 years from that date. 

Vests have no shelf life expiration, but once they have been used, they may lose some protective characteristics.  This does not mean the neighbor kid\'s Airsoft will penetrate it, but does mean the company does not warrant the original ballistic specs after that point.

 

The vest is in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for its age and overall looks good.

  The panels are in VERY GOOD condition with some light staining.

There carrier is VERY clean and does not show hard service.  There is no fraying or tears.  The V*lcro adjustments has plenty of stick.

 

Like all my  true sales, this starts at 99 cents.....have at it.
