Transit and box does show its age as you can see. Both sight glass ends are good. The big end does have the Starrett protective cap for it. Small end does not. I sighted thru it and it shows crosshairs. The legs are 28\" long and extend out to about 53\". Included is some sort of key and the string plumb bob.
