All with frontis pieces and indexes, profusely illustrated with photographs and illustrations, four large fold-out maps in volumes one and two. All volumes are very good+ with strong hinges, deckled edges and gilt top edges except for Vol 3 which is coming loose from the binding (see all pics) Comprised of a comprehensively researched history of New Mexico, from the earliest settlements, through the Spanish period and up to the time of publication. This set is one of the basic works on New Mexico history. The first volume from 1911 is the Subscriber\'s Edition numbered and autographed and limited to 1500 copies of which this is #1427, vol 2 was published in 1912 and vols 3, 4 & 5 in 1917Condition on these books is good/good+ overall, as above the 3rd volume has issues as described; There is some discoloration and general shelf wear and reading wear,Please check out all the pics for condition
