Direct drive player incorporating high basic performance in a slim design. It uses a single-chip IC (AN620) that integrates the motor drive and control components on a single chip. The drive unit is equipped with a DC servo motor with low power consumption and high rotational force. The cartridge uses an MM-type cartridge with shell-integrated structure, and the rotational speed can be adjusted independently at 33, 1/3, and 45 rpm. It is equipped with an illuminator to illuminate the strobe and an audio insulator to resist vibration.
