(GOOD)I cannot find any info on this particularedition, but judging by the aging and the style of text/printing, and publisher\'s history, from the mid 1940s to early 1950s. No printing numbers on the copyright page, just \"CL\". Has all black text on the front cover, not the title in red like every later Doubleday printing I\'ve seen (usually from the late 60s or later). Most likely one of the earliest printings of this Doubleday edition. Wish I could provide more info! Feel free to message me to ask any questions/provide more pictures!No Dust Jacket. Paper on the binding on the spine has chipped off, leaving the mesh exposed. All pages are bound well however, no loose pages, book flips well. Some staining in the creases of the pages. No markings. Some stains on the covers especially the back, as well as edge wear. A bit of the front cover art has torn off (an inch or so around the rabbit\'s ears). Biggest issue is the spine, but binding is still solid.
