The silver 2 Reichsmark Potsdam Garrison Church coin with date was struck by Germany in 1934. One side depicts the imperial German eagle dividing the date with the country name above and the denomination below. The reverse shows the Prussian Garrison Church in Potsdam, the site of the \"Potsdam Day\", a German propaganda ceremony held on March 21, 1933, to mark the opening of the new Reichstag by Reich President Paul von Hindenburg and his proposed new Chancellor. The coin is approximately the size of a quarter and has an unusual lettered edge. The coin contains .1608 troy ounces of silver.
