This listing is for ONE of our original pre-WWI US Springfield brass stripper clips, for use with the M1903 Springfield Rifle or the M1917 Enfield rifle. These are the early version, with the middle hole and perforations, which were omitted during WWI to ease manufacture. These are made to hold 5 rounds of standard 30-06 ammo. THE END TABS ARE INTACT ON ALL EXAMPLES. Condition is very good overall, showing age darkening of the metal, random areas of discoloration, but all clips are in excellent working order and will hold ammo. Please note that the end tabs may be bent out, or they may be bent up to hold cartridges in place. Note also that these tabs break off very easily, so use can absolutely make the tabs break. For this reason we are selling these as display and collectible items, not for shooting use.
