UNIQUE & UNUSUAL SHAPED LARGE 10\" HOLLAND DELFT BLUE PLATE WITH WINDMILL DESIGN For Sale

Listing this wonderfully unique & unusually shaped Made in Holland hand painted Delft Blue china plate. The traditional Delft Blue coloring on this plate is gorgeous with all the flowers, butterflies and swirly designs running all over the plate. Like most Holland Delft Blue, there is the windmill and cottages along what looks like a river/lake to me. On this plate, this depiction is in the center and the plate measures 10\" x 10\". This isn\'t the normal round plate you see, but there is this design to this one....like either a four leaf clover design or like the windmills themselves. On the back, you will see the blue crown as well as \"Delft Blue Handpainted OBOB 50 Made in Holland\". As the pictures show, this plate is ready to hang up on the wall, but could also be used as a plate. On the back, there are 2 little areas that have a smattering of blue possibly when it was painted. However, this does not distract from this plate at all. There are no chips or cracks on this plate. If you are a collector of Delft cobalt blue plates or even Flow Blue plates, this would be a great addition to your collection. There might not be a lot of this shape plates out there. I do want to point out I tried to explain this item to the best of my ability. I do not know the age of this plate.
