Set of 3 Rare 1933 First Edition University of Iowa Wedgwood CommemorativePlates - made in England. These transferware plates measure approximately 10 1/4" inches across, and have an ivory backgroundwith blue images. The plates have a decorative border, with centralimages featuring various buildings and views on the University of Iowa campus.The backs of the plates carry the name each view depicted, and the manufacturer'smark: "UNiversity of Iowa -- First Edition -- Wedgwood - Etruria, England -- Sole Importers - Jones, McDuffee & Stratton Co. - Boston". The Wedgwood impression/incision is also present.

Extremely good condition - no chips, cracks, stains, marks or repairs. Minimal minor, light crazing - extremely faint and barely visible - Most viewers would not notice it.
