A nice example of the US Army M-1902 canteen with attached M-1903 hanger. The M-1902 canteen was modified from the M-1878 with an indentation in the center to better mold to a soldiers\' body. The attached M-1903 hanger strap is dated 1904 and marked R.I.A. (Rock Island Arsenal). The canteen measures about 8 1/2\" in diameter. Thanks for looking and good luck offerding.
