Extremely RARE ca. 1880s \"flat top\" tennis racquet. Manufacturer labeling still clearly visible at the neck of the racquet, as well as the model name \"FRANKLIN\" at the top of the frame. Racquet is re-strung and has a small crack at the usual spot on the frame, but for an item that is 140+ years old, the condition is OUTSTANDING. Price based on resesrched recent actual sale price of the same model. Will consider reasonable/serious offers.
