THIS IS THE FAMED HIGHLY DESIRABLE \"BLACK DIAL\" MODEL, AND IT IS THE ABSOLUTELY TOUGHEST ASTRONAUT TO FIND. WHEN FOUND, THESE ARE TYPICALLY WORN AND PITTED. THIS EXAMPLE IS PRETTY DARN CLEAN AND THE ONLY ONE I HAVE EVER SEEN TO BE IN THIS CONDITION

Check this one out! Up for offers I offer a SELDOM SEEN, THIS CLEAN HEAVY SOLID STAINLESS STEEL 1960\'s Bulova ACCUTRON Mens \"ASTRONAUT\" wristwatch. This beaut is housed in a CLEAN, Attractive POLISHED case that evidences very little wear and is what I would consider to be overall Excellent condition. The lugs are SHARP, and in GREAT SHAPE. The back is CLEAN, and shows no signs of stupid knife slips, and retains MUCH of its original polished finish!
The Original, Black Finish dial is in Excellent condition with nice, uniform aging. All Hands and Figures are intact and the entire dial is completely untoyed with. It is a REAL, ORIGINAL BEAUTY!
The crystal has just been replaced and is perfect!
The period StainlessSteel bracelet is virtually unused and is a unique link/expansion construction! It will accomodate a 180mm wrist but can be sized smaller.
The 214HN Factory Adjusted TUNING FORK Movement is of Bulova\'s highest grade for their tuning fork line at the time. It has been serviced and is running properly. The hacking and GMT functions operate properly. Time, Bezel Ring, and Setting all operate properly.
All polished steel work is in Excellent condition and the plates are fantastic for this age of watch.
