The Turntable is in working condition, near mint opticalcondition. It was the last really well engineered and German and Switzerlandmade Turntable from Thorens Lahr. Original Serial Number: 298.
It is electronically base on the TD 320 / TD 520 series witha concrete base. It is a great sounding turntable.
Nobody knows how many were made in total. Some say 200others say 350.
Does include a SME S III black tonearm with the original SMEcable, including the antiskating weight but not the cartridge. Also includedthe original owners manual, the original AC PowerSupply 230 Volt / 50/60 Hz. If necessary, we can supply a 117 Volt /50/60 Hz original Thorens Power supply and finally the original box with woodinlays and clamp mechanism for a save transportation.
The story of this turntable:It was sent fromThorens Switzerland to a Hifi-Show somewhere in Europe. After the Show theturntable came back and was storage. In fact, this turntable is new and worksperfect.

Modelled after the basic shape of a record, the\"Concrete\" not only wowed visually, it also offered a convincingtechnical performance. The base made of concrete and the leaf-sprung subchassis carved out of an aluminium block damped impact sound and vibrations.This audiophile sculpture was mainly equipped with the SME 309 tonearm (thepictured turntable is equipped with the SME 3009). Another special feature: the2.7 kg platter made of mineral glass. It is driven by the 24-pole synchronousmotor known from the 300 series to a 1.5 kg aluminium sub-platter.
