This vintage 1970s a road safety traffic siren yellow helmet is an exact replica of the one Elton John wore while aboard the starship one airplane while on the louder than Concorde tour.
PLEASE NOTE THE HELMET IS MISSING BOTH BATTERY COVERS ON THE SIDES.

\"Elton John wore this playful yellow faux-emergency helmet with red plastic flashing light and chin strap when horsing around aboard his elaborate tour plan the \"Starship One\" in 1976. This famed airplane, tricked out with all the rock star amenities, was originally a United Airlines passenger plane that was bought by singer Bobby Sherman in 1973 who had the interior completely redesigned to be used by the rock elite. The plane was initially leased by Led Zeppelin, and then Peter Frampton, Alice Cooper, and Deep Purple, as well as by Elton John from 1973 to 1976.
