This is a vintageVogue Ginny doll from the series \"Far Away Lands.\" She is #522, a Ginny Bride. I believe she was introduced in 1969 and was one of the last Ginny dolls made in the U.S.A. The markings on her back are quite light and not easily read. From what I can ascertain the markings are as follows: Ginny, Vogue Dolls, Inc. Her bridal dress is satin and lace and can be found on p.160 of the Vogue Dolls Identification book by Judith Izen and Carol Stover, 1998. Her veil comes in three layers. The bottom layer, and largest layer, has several small rips as can be seen in the photos. She comes with a bridal dress, bridal veil, slip and panties, tie shoes and a bridal bouquet. Her satin dress needs to be ironed.
