I’m not a dealer—this thermostat was used in our personal home (not a rental) from late September 2020 (when we replaced the HVAC system) until mid-January 2021 (when we installed a Nest received as a gift). It worked perfectly for heating and cooling. It still has the protective film covering the LCD screen. I think it has the cleanest look of all the programmable thermostats, because all the seldom-used controls are behind a door.
Because it was installed, the layer of paper at the rear has been pierced (last 2 photos). This doesn’t change function.
Requires a common wire; if you have only 4 wires you may need the Venstar Add-a-Wire Accessory (Part # ACC-0410)
This unit is for is 24 V only; if your thermostat is connected to AC power, this thermostat cannot be used
You can control it with Alexa, but you need to purchase a Venstar Wi-Fi Module (Part # ACC-VWF1). If you add Wi-Fi support, you can also use Google Assistant or Venstar’s free app to control the thermostat.
