Here is a nice pair of extremely rare Altec Hollywood A420 tube preamplifiers with original P511 supply.
These are extremely rare Western Electric licensed Altec preamplifiers. These were used in big movie installs and are the top preamps ever made by Altec. They utilize TBB-103 inputs and TP-204 output transformers. I have a pair for myself and intended to keep all 4 but I do not have a use for all of them so am offering this pair up for sale. This is the last pair I will be selling my previous pair sold a couple years ago for 6k. These are priced a bit higher since they include the rare P511 power supply (also used with the 322C limiter/compressor). You will probably not see another pair on here as they are incredibly rare and were primarily used for movie voice over work in Hollywood and larger production studios. These are sold as is and have not been used in some time so they should have a quick check up by a tech before being put back into regular use. All transformers and tubes test good. The P511 will need tubes
