NO Back splash, was used in and island with out the back splash by previouse owner.
Looks and works great.this one is all gas .changed out the igniters in the oven and the spark module, ( which are the main parts which wears out over 10 to 20 years.)
.Hi, I have been Refurbishing and Selling Cook tops, Rangetops and Ranges on Craigslist and for 4 years from Los Angeles. Most end up looking 9 out of 10 and functions perfectly, I have multiple units on ,They are Simple Machines even though some can be difficult to Diagnose and Fix.I focus on CT, RT, Ranges and some ovens and hoods. No fridge or dishwasher.Refurbishing mean: 1. Test and fix all functionality of the unit.2. Clean the unit.3. Resurface Stainless. 4. Retest. I do retest and touch up on all units prior to Shipping. IMPORTANT.1. Check the CUT OUT SIZE, hole on your counter top , so that the new Unit will drop in and fit. This will save Big Hassle to re cut tile or granite.2. You should pick the Look and Brand you like in the price range you are comfortable with. What you see is what you get.3. Functions you should consider are High output(1500 btus.), continuous grates, simmer and lights.4. The main thing which wears out on CT and RT are higher end Spark modules with flame sensors. 90% of break downs are the switch, when liquid get on them from cleaning or water boiling over for cooktop. Majority of Brands are reliable.5. BTU\'s, tiny ones are about 5 to 6k , small are 7 to 9k, medium is 11 to 2k and large high output is about 15 to 16 k and supper high one with double rings are 16 to 17k on most units. Viking large burner is 15k btu, Thermador star burner, large is 16,5 btu\'s. 6. More added, more stuff to break down, Local Pickup in Los Angelesor+ SHIPPING COST,,,Fedex Ground, has a limit of 150 lbs. I send in 2 boxes with insurance. Check for damages and take pictures if damaged.Fedex, Costs for Cooktops 30, 36, 46\" $60 to $150, for 36\" rangetop $150 n $200 , for 48\" rangetop $250. ( including packing materials $10 to $40, and about 30 min to 1 hour each)Some one will need to sign for item, because of the value of item, more than $100 and, FedEx requires a contact number of buyer. You can request for item to be held at local fedex center, but item can be heavy.Uship.com, freight for some rangetops and all ranges, 3 to 10 days, i have used Uship.com to receive items as well as i send it. NO returns so make sure it\'s the right one or Part. ( shipping is expensive.)If you know of any better shipping method, let me know.
