Vintage 1916 Pat. WOOD DOOR JAMB Hardware JAMISON COLD STORAGE Philadelphia Salvage
This Old 1916 PAT Solid Wood Jamison Cold Storage Door comes complete with its Jamb and Original Hardware. The door was salvaged from an old building in Franklintown Philadelphia prior to her scheduled demolition, and was the internal door located between the kitchen and small cold storage room.
Some of the bolts that held the jamb to the wall (5) and hinge to the jam (4) are missing; other than that, the Jamison Door Set remains in very good working condition, exhibiting only normal signs of use and vintage wear (scuffs, dinks, paint chipping, etc. - see pics).
The Door/Jamb measure approximately as follows:
Door Interior (Pink Side): 29-1/2" x 74"
Door Exterior (Cold Storage Side): 25-3/4" x 71-1/2"
Door Depth: 4-3/4" (5-3/4" including front panel)
Door Jamb OD: 30-1/4" x 75-1/4"
Jamb Interior Frame (Pink Side): 79-1/2" x 38-2/4"
Jamb Depth: 5-1/2"
Plank Internal Trim: 1-3/8" x 5-1/2"
Please carefully review the pics. If you have any questions, please direct us on how we can best identify the answer you're looking for (prior to offerding) so that you're completely satisfied with your evaluation, as this nostalgic Jamison Door Set is being sold in "as is" vintage condition.
