Fantastic necklace, bracelet… even belt (depending on how tiny you are)! My grandmother purchased this gem in the 40’s (I still find it unreal considering its condition). She was told it was made prior to 1930. At a minimum, it’s as old as 1940. It can be worn a number of different ways, including as a belt. Looking at this necklace, I can’t help but wonder if all Elsa Peretti designs were original (considering she didn’t start working for Tiffany until 1974)! ☺️ The artisan who crafted this was clearly ahead of her/his time. It is made from silver tone metal with a small faceted fresh water pearl dangling from each end. It measures approximately 30” long and it’s just under an inch wide.
