This is a beautiful hand-painted casserole with original lid. 1930s Tlaquepaque Mexican pottery.
It is in very good condition (see pics). No chips or cracks. Some very minor wear/ paint loss and light scratch which is commensurate with age. Measures12 1/2\" long by 8”\" wide x 5” h. Oval. Weight=2lbs 12oz.
The provenance of this item is not available, but it is marked Tlaquepaque Mexico. It is a perfect addition to any collection of Mexican pottery or cultural artifacts. This item is a true gem and a must-have for anyone interested in Mexican art and culture.
