This dress is absolutely gorgeous and clearly handstitched in Boston, making it even more special.
There are small water discoloration at the bottom of the dress that could maybe have a little baking soda to it or dry clean but I have not attempted

Jay’s was on Temple Place right next to the rear of the C. Crawford Hollidge store.
It opened in 1918 and was an upper end women’s clothing shop more or less. It sold all kinds of goods for women on the various floors of the building.
