This Motorola Model 53H bakelite red AM radio was made around 1954. It falls in the category of the \"All American Five\" with 5 vacuum tubes. This is a working radio and is able to receive AM radio stations. Unusual about this particular 53H are the gold numbers on the tuning dial (many or most are white) and the low serial number, 7414. Charles and Ray Eames are often credited with the atomic design of this radio.
It measures approximately 11 3/4\" across x 6 1/2\" in height x 7 1/2\" in depth.

Dials are a little wobbly and tarnished on the gold colored plates. No cracks in the bakelite body. Cord appears to be in good condition and is not dried out.
