These lamps were all the rage in the Mid-Century and usuallysat upon the television commanding the room.The ceramic potteryFelines are nearly life sized and are so nicely detailed. The glaze is goodwith nice detail. The condition of this very collectible lamp is really nice,with only a little crazing to the glaze, this lamp was well taken care of andhas no cracks or any other damage.
The eyes are under-lit with beautiful blue eyes that glow while still being able tosee the cat-like pupils. The eyes are inset on this lamp, and arevisible even when off. It is no wonder that this series of lamps are highlycollectible and coveted by the true TV Lamp purists & aficionados. Lelandpassed away in 2000, and since his beautiful and Kitsch lamps have shot up evenmore in both value and for collective purposes.
